Buying blank CDs

To make CDs that work in stereo systems, use CD-R blank discs. Do not use CD-RW discs; they usually work only in computers.

You can fit about 74 minutes of music, or 650 MB, on a CD. Some discs allow 80 minutes (700 MB) of music. The iTunes playlist window shows the total time and size of the songs on the playlist.

You only use a CD-R once. After you've burned the disc, you cannot erase or change its contents. To buy more blank CD-R discs, choose Shop For iTunes Products from the File menu.
